Before: Sloped yard was damaged from severe erosion, due to un-managed storm water and lack of permanent structure to contain the soil.
Phase 1: Raincheck downspout planter was installed, and a temporary earth and gravel base was built.
Phase II: A retaining dry wall, made of Wissahickon Schist, was built to permanently secure the earth from eroding away. Soil was remediated with organic material, and native perennials and shrubs were planted. Erosion cloth was temporarily laid down on top of uncompleted areas.
